Morton Hospital and Steward Medical Group have welcomed Doriana Morar, MD, to the greater Taunton community.

Dr. Morar joins the hospital’s growing psychiatry team and will support psychiatric needs of the hospital’s inpatients, as well as see patients in the hospital’s Outpatient Psychiatry Clinic.

Board certified in psychiatry and neurology, Dr. Morar earned her medical degree from the Iuliu Hatieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, and completed her residency training at Tufts University - St. Elizabeth's Medical Center.

She speaks English and Romanian and has a special interest in emergency psychiatry, consultation liaison psychiatry and psycho-oncology.
